The Office Manager at Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists has called the company her home for almost six years. During her time with Jeremy Jacob Letting specialists, she has met people from all over the world, learned new skills that she will utilize throughout her career and seen some of the beautiful living spaces that London has to offer.
The Office Manager grew up in the Netherlands and moved to London when she was nine years old; she has lived in London ever since. Before she started her university studies, she was already taking steps toward starting her career by beginning as an apprentice at Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists. During her three years at the University of Westminster in London, she worked on and off for Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists, proving her immense loyalty to the company. In 2023, she officially joined the Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists team as a full-time member.
For this employee, a typical day at Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists consists of a variety of tasks. First, she sets up her work space and works through emails, addressing the most crucial messages first. She follows this up with some sort of caffeine in order to fuel up for the work day ahead. After responding to more emails and completing lighter tasks, she takes part in her daily meeting with the owner of Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists. For the remainder of the day, she completes the jobs that were assigned to her, finding time for a quick lunch break in between tasks. Finally, she wraps up her work and heads home. Some days involve viewing properties, while others are about managing the company’s interns. No matter the task, the Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists Office Manager always strives to do her best work, and she delivers.
Throughout her six years with the company, the best thing she has learned is how to adapt her communication style to all different types of people. This ability to adjust to different groups not only involves the manner in which she communicates with clients and fellow employees but also the language that she communicates with. Some of her favorite clients have been people that she has had the opportunity to speak in different languages with. One such client was a Dutch couple who she spoke in Dutch with, a language she is very familiar with having grown up in the Netherlands. She enjoyed working with the couple because they were kind and loyal tenants who she quickly connected with. The pair even brought her some of her favorite childhood snacks when they returned to London from trips to the Netherlands. That couple is just one example of the amazing clients she has worked with throughout her time at Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists, making her job all the more worth it.
In order to remain with a company for so many years, there has to be something keeping the worker there. For the Office Manager, her favorite part of working at Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists is the people, both clients and coworkers. She loves meeting and learning about different people, something she has the opportunity to do all the time while working at the company she enjoys so dearly, Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists.
