About Jay

Hi there,

My name is Jay and Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists is my business. We are a small, independent and family run company that started in 2014. 

I started Jeremy Jacob Letting Specialists because I personally got fed up with the corporate world of estate agency politics and always had a desire to do my own thing. I just felt that I always cared that little bit more than some other fellow employees for giving a good and genuine service to clients and customers. I also got a little tired of how estate agents seemed to set up the relationship between the Landlord and Tenant as if they are enemies. It doesn't have to be this way. Yes, our Landlords are our clients, but our Tenants are our customers too. We can all get on and make a happy experience. 

I also saw a disconnect amongst traditional estate agents, where some selling agents would display a clear disinterest in helping a prospective Landlord or Tenant (interested only to help Vendors and Buyers) and vice versa with letting agents. I also got frustrated when letting agents would wipe their hands clean of responsibility once a Tenant moved into a property and passed the buck to the property management team (often lacking information and being slow to react). I wanted to create a seamless and easy process. So I created a letting only agency: and thus becoming an expert in the singular field of residential letting with property management. This is what we care about and want to do well. 

In my personal time, I love to stay fit and healthy, hang out with my family and read lots of non-fiction books (love to learn).
